When I think of the Summer Solstice, I think of day when I rise with the sun, and soak in as much of the beautiful sunshine on the longest day of the year. After this day the sun will shine just a little less each day, It’s a day when I will flutter outside and sway. This feeling of soft mellow relaxation under the bright skies makes me put on music that fits the spirit. I created a Spotify playlist this Summer Solstice, and before I knew it, I realized that I was creating a collection of Sinatra songs. His music has that sway to it, and over the years he reflected on the summer and sunshine quite a few times. So, my gift to you this Summer Solstice is a playlist of summer with Sinatra.
