National Popcorn Day – Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn

January 19th is National Popcorn Day, so I thought I would share a Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn recipe from a holiday popcorn swap I did a few years back.  It’s really simple to make and you can sit back and enjoy a gourmet bowl of popcorn.  I think the infusion of rosemary in this recipe gives it an unique touch that heightens the elegance of this popcorn.  The nontraditional ingredients of parmesan cheese and rosemary makes the popcorn especially ideal to enjoy with a chilled class of white wine.  You may even try something sweeter, like a Moscato or Riesling to balance the salty with sweet.

Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn will make a great addition to date night and with National Popcorn Day falling on a Friday, it’s the best excuse to invite someone over for a movie tonight and to share this fabulous popcorn with you.  Surprise your husband, partner, or someone special this Friday night with a movie accompanied by a chilled bottle of wine and Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn.
