My Happy Plates Lifetime Membership Give Away for Mother’s Day

I just discovered a great service that will make meal planning much easier and it’s going to be the greatest Mother’s Day present for busy moms. Have you been finding it tough to get organized or figure out what to make for dinner each night? Even though I share recipes on this blog, I still encounter days like that where I wish I could take the stress out of dinner. My Happy Plates is doing just that.

I have been on the search for an app or website that could do this for me, and recently I was contacted by Ryan at My Happy Plates, who informed me that My Happy Plates offers weekly meal plans with recipes and grocery lists.

They are about to turn it up a notch, where members will be able to receive meal plans and recipes that are customized for their families. The weekly meal plans will be based on your profile (number of people, likes, dislikes, styles, diets, budget, etc.), and you will receive fresh, healthy recipes with convenient shopping lists. After all, everybody’s tastes are different – there are different diets, allergies, likes, dislikes, goals, flavor profiles, etc. But, that is not all they are doing. It gets even better.

With the help of a Kickstarter campaign, which you have to check out because there are some awesome rewards for pledges (like lifetime memberships to My Happy Plates), they are building an insanely fabulous online platform that’s going to change the way you shop for food. Not only will you get customized weekly meal plans and recipes based on your eating profile, then you’ll have the option of grabbing your convenient shopping list or 1-click ordering your groceries online (and getting them delivered in less than 2 hours). I don’t know anyone that does that!

  1. The hardest part is finding things I will like to eat, thanks so much for this opportunity! You are great!

  2. I would like to subscribe – I tried via RSS but the link didn’t work so if I just leave it you can subscribe my email! I am also entering the contest!
The hardest part about meal planning would be buying the groceries and finding food. It takes a lot of thinking and searching for good, healthy foods.
    I also liked on Facebook.

    1. Hi Emily,

Thanks for entering the contest. An email was sent to you, so all you have to do is activate the subscription. I removed your email from the comment, so the whole world would not have it 🙂

  3. Trying not to cook the same things over and over. I don’t cook that much, my mother does and she tries not to. But, it’s hard. This would be so wonderful, especially for mom.

  4. I would love to enter! I work a lot so my hardest thing is finding recipes that are inexpensive and easy to make. I like recipes with little ingredients that are simple. I also like to find veggie based recipes! I think this would help with that.

  5. The hardest part is finding the recipes. They have to be frugal, healthy, something everyone will like(or at least not spit out), and fast. That is a tall order.

  6. I am entering the giveaway(and subscribed). The hardest part about meal planning is having everything you want and buying food that is healthy that won’t go bad in a couple of days.

  7. I have a few things that make it hard to meal plan. I have a very picky 4 year old who is a hit or miss with dinner, my husband works second shift so we eat “dinner” at noon with him. Plus, I have a hard time thinking of delicious dinners to even make!

  8. Also I cannot subscribe via RSS either like others have mentioned, please use my email to subscribe to your list

    1. Hi Noelle, Thanks for your comments. I know what you mean by a very picky 4 year old who is a hit or miss. There adorable, but it is always an adventure with them. I’m sorry you were not able to subscribe via RSS. You should now have received an email to activate the subscription. Thanks.

  9. The hardest part for me is finding the time to meal plan and actually getting the recipes. I’m vegetarian but my hubby isn’t and the 2 year old and 5 year old are in between lol. Because I work FT during the day and my husband works nights, it’s hard to find the energy to meal plan, especially for anything healthy. This would be a huge help!!

  10. The hardest part is coming up with things to eat. I can’t do the whole chicken and brown rice thing, it has to taste good for me to eat it.

  11. The hardest part of meal planning for me is picking out the meals for the week that the whole family will enjoy.

  12. I’m trying to cut back on carbs but sometimes feel like I’m making the same dinners week after week.

  13. The hardest part about meal planning is finding the time to cook everyday, in a healthy way! It is so much easier to eat out, but it doesn’t nourish my soul the way home-cooked meals with love do. I am excited to be on your newsletter list, I love your site!

  14. I’m entering the giveaway. The hardest part of meal planning is the recipes. My family is Paleo, so I either have to find Paleo-specific recipes or do a lot of substituting, which I’m not very good at. As time progresses, though, more and more Paleo recipe books and options are available, so it’s getting better.

  15. The hardest part for me is coming up with new and exciting recipes that are organic, non gmo and kid friendly.

  16. Hardest part is grocery shopping and planning. My kids like healthy foods so I am blessed.

  17. The hardest part of meal planning for me is coming up with different things without having to go to the store for oddball ingredients that I will probably only use once a year. I find recipes but then when I see some of the stuff I would need, I resort back to the old familiars. I am entering because some fresh ideas may get me out of the 10 cycle of the same foods.

  18. I subscribed & did the bonus entry. The hardest part for me is organizing healthy meals, and that will be even more important to me once my son gets older.

  19. I am entering this giveaway & the hardest part of meal planning for me is making the grocery list & getting the groceries so that I have everything on hand to prepare the meals.

  20. Making the grocery list is the easy part. I love cooking new meals every week but I do not like finding new recipes every week. It takes up a lot of my time searching for fun new meals on Pinterest.

  21. The hardest part for me is finding healthy meals for every night and it will be even harder once my son gets older! I liked your FB page also.

  22. The hardest part of meal planning for me is trying to come up with new creative meals each week, we get stuck in a rut and eat the same few meals it seems

  23. Finding recipes and then actually finding the ingredients in the store! I always seem to not be able to find just one thing, and it ends up being a must have!
