Happy Birthday Virginia Woolf

It’ the great Virginia Woolf’s birthday.  The English writer is the author of such novels as The Voyage Out and Between the Acts, however her grassroots approach to informing and inspiring feminism led to Woolf’s best-known nonfiction work A Room of One’s Own.

She has left a legacy that inspired works such as Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, a 1962 play by Edward Albee, as well as Me! I’m Afraid of Virginia Woolf, a 1978 TV play.  Her legacy has allowed me to feature one of her famous quotes from time to time here on this blog.  So, what better day than today to remind us that food is part of our souls and balances our lives:

Happy Birthday, Ms. Adeline Virginia Woolf
