Fall Into Harvest At The Restaurant At Leoness Cellars

With the arrival of fall we also basque in autumn fruits of the heavens and the gift of Dionysus himself.  It’s time to harvest grapes in the vineyards with grand festivals and celebratory grape stomps.  Napa is the most famous for its wineries and grape harvest festivals alongside its renowned restaurants by legendary chefs.  Down in Southern California we have the Central Valley and Temecula region with up and coming wineries.  Although they have yet to invite famed chefs to the region, they have one distinguishing factor.  These wineries are developing their own fine dining restaurants and private Inns.

I have posted about my Temecula favorites in the past, today I would like to bring your attention to Leoness Cellars.  It’s a sprawling estate vineyard featuring wine tasting and tours, with an alfresco restaurant and panoramic views.

The Restaurant at Leoness Cellars has been rated #1 Winery Restaurant by USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice.  It offers a full-service menu made 100% from scratch with seasonal selections ranging from vibrant salads, seafood, pasta and unique flatbreads.  I had the privilege of trying Cajun Shrimp cooked with white wine and Cajun spice mounted with butter.

The Bone Barrow is amazing prepared with craftsmanship in French traditional style.

In the summer months, the Beef Carpaccio and Smoked Salmon Roulade is divine and refreshing.

The Restaurant at Leoness Cellars is fueled by a passion for serving savory dishes packed with an array of complimentary flavors that can be paired perfectly with Leoness wines.  Don’t forget to try their wine flight for a variety of tastes.
