Meditate To Thanksgiving Challenge: Become What You Believe – 21 Day Meditation Experience with Oprah and Deepak Chopra

In America it seems like Halloween has become the kick off to the holiday season and filling our tummies. Starting with candy coma we just keep eating through Thanksgiving and on to the holiday parties until New Year’s Eve. We don’t stop until we embark on our New Year’s Resolutions.

But, what about the weeks after Halloween until Thanksgiving. Do we really need to unconsciously eat whatever we want? Do most of us really do that? What if we took the time to spend those weeks to concentrate on ourselves before the Black Friday Sales and Christmas craziness begins. If we focus on being healthy and grounded now, then maybe by the time Thanksgiving arrives we can find the calm within us to approach the annual guests and relatives with more kindness and tolerance. Perhaps we can keep our focus at the malls and avoid buyer confusion during Christmas shopping enough to take the stampeding shoppers in good stride.

I’m setting off on a challenge to be a healthier human being in whole mind, body and soul from now until Thanksgiving. I have signed up at the Chopra Center Meditation for a 21 Day Experience. Become What You Believe – 21 Day Meditation Experience with Oprah and Deepak Chopra is a quick and easy way to adopt this ancient practice of meditation. Oprah and Deepak Chopra are offering a way to meditate within minutes and it’s free! This particular series is intended for discovering the key to who you are today – so you can open the door to who you want to be.

The beauty of this practice is that it can seriously help put things into perspective. Mindfulness meditation itself increases productivity, creativity, efficiency, energy, and self-esteem, which is exactly what we need for the busy holiday season. I’m inviting all my readers to join me on this journey and perhaps we can create a group to support each other through it. I’ll be posting my experience with the daily messages, mantra-based meditations, and centering thoughts from Become What You Believe Meditation Experience with Oprah and Deepak Chopra over the next 21 days. I will also provide a few good recipes that I think coordinate beautifully with meditation to help us be healthy both mind and body.  So, check in daily to see how it’s going and what insightful information I have to offer you.

I look forward to meditating with you!
